Pricing Transparency

The BBA is a uniquely hybrid entity. Our initial goal was to operate as a nonprofit, but our political purpose makes us ineligible for 501(c)3 status and we don’t quite fit under a 501(c)4 either. We’ve decided for both expediency and simplicity to form as an LLC, technically a for-profit entity. However, we’re also committed to demonstrating that our motive is in fact not profit, so we’re publishing our production costs. We will also be asking our accountant prepare a statement confirming that the business does not generate any profits nor does it pay a salary to the owner.
